CAN MY PET TAKE GIZZLS IF HE IS ON OTHER MEDICATION OR SUPPLEMENTS?

Of course it’s always advisable to do your research when using any supplement with your pet. CAN GIZZLS BISCUITS OR OILS GET MY PET HIGH?

Nope. Won’t happen, and let me tell you why: our biscuits and oils contain full-spectrum CBD that contains only small amounts of THC (that’s ultimately the stuff that gets you “high”) but is needed to achieve the Entourage Effect. Because the CBD oil contains small amounts of THC, it means you won’t have any high pets on your hands (although they will feel much better!).

WHAT IS THE ENTOURAGE EFFECT?

The Entourage Effect actually just means the “whole-plant” effect. CBD doesn’t do so well in a pet’s (or human's) system without other compounds native to cannabis. This symbiotic relationship between CBD and other cannabinoids like THC, CBC, CBG and others is called the “Entourage Effect”. It's the relationship between different compounds in cannabis working together to channel the CB1 and CB2 neuroreceptors natural to the body to provide maximum relief for debilitating symptoms. To take it a step further, the entourage effect doesn’t just apply to cannabinoids. Terpenes, the aromatic compounds natural to most plants, are especially concentrated in cannabis. These aromatic compounds have been found to provide significant relief for many chronic conditions just by themselves.

The entourage effect results when the many components within the cannabis plant interact with the body to produce a stronger influence than any one of those components alone – it's a synergistic effect.

​

And it's what differentiates isolates and hemp oil commonly found in health shops and pharmacies countrywide to full-spectrum CBD oil.

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FULL-SPECTRUM, CBD ISOLATE AND HEMP SEED OIL?

Knowing the difference between full-spectrum, CBD isolate and hemp oil matters, and it matters a lot.
Here’s why...

Full-spectrum CBD

The "whole food" version, as it's a 100% unrefined extract and the most expensive. Full-spectrum CBD is produced by extracting all the cannabinoids and terpenes found in the cannabis plant, including trace amounts of THC. Because full-spectrum CBD contains a full range of cannabinoids and terpenes, it can deliver the Entourage Effect with powerful medical benefits that will far exceed those delivered by CBD isolate, but it won't get your pet 'high'. It’s CBD the way nature intended.

CBD isolate

Isolate is pretty much what it sounds like: it’s CBD that’s processed to remove everything that isn’t CBD itself. The result is the most inexpensive form of CBD around and—at 99.9%—the purest, too. CBD isolate products do not contain any other cannabinoids or terpenes, and therefore, will not deliver the Entourage Effect. They can deliver the therapeutic effects of CBD, but none of the powerful medical benefits of full-spectrum CBD.

Hemp Seed Oil

This type of oil is an expensive nutritional supplement and will not aid in treating any of the ailments which CBD oil can assist with. Hemp seed oil is a perfectly good seed oil that’s high in antioxidants, omega-3 and 6 fatty acids, but it has no medical benefits.
